ü Different audio options (mp1, mp2, aac, pcm) are now available for MPEG-2 and H.264 encoding, with Audio mixer options for multi-channels of audio.
ü Audio channels can now be converted to PCM wav streams in MPEG-2 encoding. E.g.: 6 channels of audio can be encoded in MPEG-2 video with 6 PCM wav streams.
ü Up to 12 profiles (different files) can be created for each audio/video source
ü Metus Ingest now plays user defined wav sound when capture starts or ends. This sound alarm can be enabled or disabled from options.
ü New Feature: Metus Ingest Folder watcher (batch transcoder)
It watches the folder you specify and when any file drops to that folder then it immediately transcode to specified profile(or profiles) with or without burned-in overlay option. More than one simultaneous encoder can be optionally used.
ü Users now can Adjust date/time tags according to time zones for file naming and for burn-in date time overlay. E.g. you are capturing a TV channel that has different time zone than your country. You can overlay or name the file according to that time zone with -/+ HH:MM:SS time difference.
ü Ingest now can capture from IP streams for WMV, MPEG-2 and H.264. It can preview and capture to any other supported formats.
ü New file naming tags added:
o [preset ]: preset name
o [guid]: globally unique Identifier.
o [videofile]: name of video file, mainly used in batch transcoding (folder watcher)
o [taskname]: Schedule task name.
o [tapename]: Tape name in case of batch capture from VTR etc.
ü Overlay presets can now be saved or loaded.
ü External default or specific player can be set for previewing the captured files.
