Requirement: Cihan News Agency needed to record the shootings that are shot by the reporters. They asked for solution that is able to capture the uplink broadcast which is made by the vehicles on site. All these shhotings needed to be captured and stored digitaly in the main office.
The scond part of the project was to digitally archive and assign metadatas to these recorded material. By means of this enhanced archiving the record should be available to the local office users in a short while.

Solution: Metus Ingest multichannel, multiprofile recording software and Metus Library Digital Asset Management software is used for Cihan News Agency. The recorders are connected to the satellite receivers that receives the broadcasts from the vehicles. By the help of motion detection functionality Metus Ingest started to record as the Motion Detected and stopped recording when there is no motion. The records are splitted in every 30 minutes.
The recorded materail are edited using the Canopus editors and archived securely using Metus Library. Cihan News Agency could browse their archive by the help of assigned Metadatas easily.It became faster to prepare the videos to be broadcasted regarding to their customers’
