ANKARA METROPOLIS MUNICIPALITY

Requirement : Digitaly archive the photographes, video shots and daily newspapers that are used for the communication between the Municipality and press organizations. To inform the Mayor about these digitized material. To transmit these news to either the local or national agencies on time. To be able find the relevant record inside all the materials. To record and analyze the local and international TV channels.

Solution : Metus Ingest multichannel multiprofile recording software and Metus Library Enterprise Digital Asset Management software used for the solution which is applied for the Ankara Metropolis Municipality. TV broadcast are recorded using Metus Ingets and by the help of multichannel recording functionality more than one channel could be recorded.
The pictures and the videos that Mayor or Municipality workers were shot during the openings, conferances and and the meetings are archived using Metus Library. These records are categorized and their metadatas are assigned in order to search and find the required record inside the archive.
Daily newspapers are scanned and also archived using Metus Library. All of the digitized materials are stored in online repositories using Metus Libraries enhanced archiving capabilities. By the help of assigned Metadatas the Municipality had the ability to easily find the required material inside the archive.
