With Ingest Pro, 8 channels of video can be encoded in MPEG-2 in a single chassis
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
The video received from any source like Camera, Satellite, DVD Player or VTR via composite, component, SDI, Fiewire or Analog interface are captured by supported video boards(Blackmagic, Digital Rapids, Bluefish and Osprey) using the Metus Ingest’s advanced functionality.
Metus Ingest has the ability to capture in 3 different profiles from 4 different video sources* using the advanced Multichannel Multiprofile support function. You can capture in Mpeg1,Mpeg2, DVCPRO25, DVCPRO, DV AVI, WM9, H264 and uncompressed AVI formats.
These produced digital records can be recorded either in internal disks or external scsii attached storage units. They can also be transferred to any Local Area Network location using the Metus Ingest’s transfer function.
